Join us for the Astronomical Society Annual Dinner, a formal three-course meal hosted by the Edgbaston Golf Club. There will be a great atmosphere, delicious food and a bar service. It is an excellent opportunity to meet and converse with other members of the Astronomical Society and staff members within the Physics and Astronomy Department.
This event is open to both members and non-members, with ticket prices being £43 for members and £51 for non-members. Black-tie formal wear is encouraged for attendees. Tickets will remain on sale until 14/4/26
We will be having a set menu, with the option for a set vegetarian/vegan menu.

Main Menu:
Starter: Scottish Smoked Salmon
> Dill crème fraiche, pickled cucumber, lemon gel, caper berries
Main: Slow Cooked Glazed Beef
> Creamed potato, onion ketchup, pan gravy
Dessert: Sticky Toffee Pudding
> Toffee sauce, ginger crumb, clotted cream ice cream
Vegetarian/Vegan Menu:
Starter: Toast et Champions (ve+)
> Creamy garlic and herb wild mushrooms, toasted sourdough, rocket, truffle oil
Main: Curried Risotto (ve+)
> Madras roasted cauliflower florets, asian herb salad
Dessert: Edgbaston Mess (ve+)
> Meringue, whipped vanilla cream, berry compote, Brittany shortbread
